Grechen: Dance and Leadership {Mini Session}
Grechen is a long time dance student of mine and such a sweetheart!
Her and her mom came to me with a photo idea that Grechen needed for Job's Daughters.
She holds an important leadership position in the organization and will be involved in a special installation ceremony.
They thought that something that depicted her in her Job's Daughters attire, and showed her love for dance
would be neat! This was their fabulous idea! I loved it!
{mini session}
... and of course I had to bring her outside for a pretty headshot
...crown shot
...cape shot
Congratulations Grechen! Your talents are numerous!!!!
And I know you will be amazing in your new leadership position!!

Owen's First Birthday: {Eastern Idaho Children's Photographer}
Our sweet Owen! He has such a darling personality and is one of the greatest blessings we have in our life!
Our family is so lucky to have him!
and...I think he had a Happy Birthday!
We love you Owen!
Baby Green: {Eastern Idaho Newborn Photographer}
How darling is my little nephew???
He is 21 days old here. WOULD NOT SLEEP!!! So unfortunately, not bendy/ sleepy poses for us!
Though was a gem, he just wanted to stretch out the whole time.
The picture below is priceless though!
How many 3 week old babies that you know can hold themselves up like that?
We put him on his belly, fully anticipating that we would lay his head down on his hands, but he
was determined (and I think, proud) to keep himself up on those arms! What a strong guy!
He stayed there for almost a whole minute! Mom and I were dying laughing!
SO CUTE!
Growing like a weed! (he has cute little wrinkles and rolls)
I love this sideways look. He seems so serious about something.
And the rolls and wrinkles on his arms are precious!
And of course, we need some of mom and baby! Doesn't Rozy look fabulous?!?!
{check out her maternity photos a couple weeks back!}
Where were our husbands during all of this? Golfing, of course!
They said they scored big that round, but I think we scored bigger with this little one!
ENJOY!
Baby Dalton {Eastern Idaho Newborn Photographer}
I'm re-posting baby Dalton as I added some photos I didn't want you to miss!
Newborns are so precious. He is no exception! {I love his button nose!!!:}
Such a good little guy.
9 days old- stole my heart!!!
Love the stretch!
...and of course the smile!!!!!
The squished face is HANDS DOWN my favorite!
I just couldn't decide between full color and BW, so I posted both!
In the shot above, he is so peaceful I just HAD to do a closer crop to get a better look at that angelic face!
Miranda, you are such a sweetheart! Its no wonder all your kids are as well!
You're new babe is so precious! CONGRATS!
... and he opened his eyes for us.
{haha, if you look closely you can see my reflection in his eyes. He probably wondered, "who are you lady?"}

WELCOME TO LIFE DALTON!!!!
The Jones Family {Eastern Idaho Family Portrait Photographer}
Oh- how precious is this photo!?!
I sigh every time I look at these two. Daddy and son look so much alike, it's just so fun to see!
Below- totally gangster two year old attitude!
Photo shoots never last long with infants as nap time is NEVER far away.
Below- baby had just HAD IT, I started turning off lights and putting away equiptment while Kirii tried to calm him down. It was too precious not to get on camera, so i switched everything back on quickly to catch it.
It turned out to be one of my favorites!!!!
{Isn't my sister SOOO beautiful!!!??!!}

iHEARTfaces "Collage" challenge
So, i've never entered ANY type of photo contest before, but I am determined to give it ago! I saw that the gals at I HEART FACES were doing a "COLLAGE" challenge so I was able to use one I made just last week called:
ANATOMY OF A PRINCESS
Inspiration for a photo (for me) comes from a variety of places. It could be a song, a quote, a magazine. In this case it was THE GOOSE GIRL, by SHANNON HALE! It brought vintage, femine pictures to my mind that I was anxious to create in camera. These gorgeous girls were the perfect models.
QUOTE:
"I was just a girl then." The Goose Girl
