Welcome

Thanks for stopping by, I'm Nicole Klingler... a wife, mother, dancer, artistic director and photographer. I shoot in various cities in Idaho including Rigby, Rexburg, Idaho Falls, and Boise, as well as Salt Lake City and other northern Utah cities! My photographic style is RICH, TRUE, ORGANIC and HONEST.... with the intent of capturing my subject's personalities... the essence of who they are and what drives them! My specialties lie in individual portraiture: children, seniors, modeling portfolios, and brides- with an emphasis in fashion and editorial style, as well as engagements, formals, and weddings. Stay and browse awhile, or give me a call to set up your own session. Lets see what magic we can create together! (all session and product pricing can be found on the menu bar)

Schedule Update

Sorry for the delay, but because of the busy holiday season, Dip and Dabble Preschool photos will be in the online client gallery on Wednesday Dec. 29th. Thanks for your patience!

Adding Sky : Tutorial {Bridals} : For Photographers

Check out my previous post with Seth and Keli's Bridals HERE! I've added more pictures!
One of them I have reposted below to show you what you can do with a overblown sky. This pictures was taken about 45 minutes before sunset, out in the open obviously- direct sun- NO SHADE! It was also a pretty overcast day and the result of the sunlight against the overcast sky renders it completely white in this photograph.
Overall, I really liked everything else about this shot, so I decided that the sky was something I would remedy:)

I could give you all the specifics here, but there is another tutorial I really like. Super simple, by Morgan Kervin for Coffee Shop. Check it out HERE!
After making my sky addition, I just edited my photo further.
Brightening, Saturating, Smoothing, Noise Reduction and Sharpening {I will do a play-by-play of all these steps in an upcoming post!} When I was finished I added two different textures from SHADOW HOUSE CREATIONS!

CHECK OUT THE BEFORE AND AFTERS!
